There is a way to change your desktop mouse cursor safe & easy, download the Lemonic Cursor Café and follow these instruction:

1.Open Control Panel
2.Switch to Classic View
3.Double Click on Mouse
4.Click on Second Tab ( Pointers)
5.Click Browse & Select Wanted Cursor from the " Cursor Café " then Click Open
6.Click on Ok Botton

Enjoy the new mouse pointer view
